About The Position
The employee is responsible for facility maintenance and floor maintenance using the appropriate equipment and processes. The employee is required to comply with departmental safety requirements, contribute to the quality improvement process and interface and communicate within the department.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License is required
- Ability to read and write English
- Knowledge and/or skill in operating forklifts, power jacks and floor scrubbers at the time of hiring
- Ability to climb ladders and work in elevated environments
- Ability to comprehend and carry out reasonable instructions
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning and maintenance of the facility
- Pass and obtain a forklift certification
- Operate forklifts, power jacks and floor scrubbers
- Operate various hand tools and power tools
- Climb ladders and work in elevated environments
- Comprehend and carry out reasonable instructions from the Maintenance Manager and/or Lead person pertaining mainly but not limited to training issues
- Summarize and/or condense information
