About The Position

The Inventory employee supports production by accurately managing inventory, moving materials throughout the plant, and ensuring efficient flow of goods. The role requires strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast paced industrial environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year experience in warehousing, inventory, or material handling (manufacturing preferred)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Forklift certified or able to obtain certification
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities

Nice To Haves

• ERP experience a plus
• Experience with Emaint
• Industrial or high volume manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of Kanban, lean, or pull systems

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate counts of materials and finished goods
• Perform cycle counts
• Support physical inventories
• Update ERP/warehouse systems
• Monitor and report low stock
• Stage materials for production
• Receive and inspect shipments
• Operate forklifts/pallet jacks
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and FIFO rotation
• Record receipts, adjustments, and issues
• Maintain logs and inventory records
• Prepare labels, pick lists, and shipping documents
• Deliver materials promptly to designated lines
