About The Position

We are currently hiring a Maintenance Inventory Clerk for a full-time first shift opportunity in San Leandro, California. This role is ideal for candidates with inventory, warehouse, stockroom, or maintenance support experience who thrive in organized, fast-paced environments and can work independently while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. This position supports daily inventory operations by managing stock movement, processing inventory transactions, verifying incoming shipments, and ensuring parts and materials are available where needed. There is also strong potential for assignment extension based on business needs and performance. Schedule Monday through Friday 1st Shift 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Full-time, 8-hour shifts Pay Rate $25.00 per hour Position Overview The Maintenance Inventory Clerk is responsible for supporting inventory operations and maintaining efficient stockroom and warehouse functions. This role helps ensure materials, parts, and supplies are properly received, tracked, stored, and distributed to support operations. The ideal candidate will have prior inventory or parts management experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with limited supervision while maintaining organization and accuracy.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, stockroom, or similar support roles
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and general PC programs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist in handling daily inventory operations for maintenance and warehouse support
  • Process inventory orders and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Log items received into inventory and track materials removed from stock
  • Move products between stockroom, warehouse, and designated operational areas
  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, completeness, and damage
  • Verify purchase orders have been filled correctly
  • Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments and coordinate resolution
  • Maintain stockroom organization and ensure efficient inventory flow
  • Support inventory counts and inventory control procedures
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies or concerns to leadership
  • Assist with general warehouse and stockroom duties as needed
