About The Position

The Maintenance Intern position will report to the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Manager will assign work based on the skill level and specific training of the Intern through Maintenance Supervisors and Planners.

Requirements

Must have high school diploma or GED
Current or previous enrollment in a technical education curriculum
Must demonstrate proficiency in safety procedures
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Basic math skills
Ability to use measurement devices
Attention to detail
Must pass physical capacity testing
Ability to work in elevated areas
Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
Ability to work in accordance with quality, sanitation, and food safety policies and guidelines

Responsibilities

Performs preventive maintenance on plant equipment and completes appropriate documentation.
Assists maintenance team and supports all aspects of the maintenance department as needed, including general building and grounds maintenance.
Completes plant work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
