About The Position

Maintenance Training Instructor Description CAE, the worldwide leader in aviation training, is seeking Full‑Time Maintenance Training Instructors across USA & Canada to support and grow our Business Aviation Maintenance Training team. This role involves up to 30% global travel. If you are a Mechanic, Avionics Technician, or Maintenance Instructor with experience working on Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault, Citation, or other Commercial or Business aircraft, this is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a new and impactful way. The Maintenance Training Instructor works as part of a dedicated team delivering aircraft maintenance training on products manufactured by major OEMs. Responsibilities include developing, delivering, and maintaining multimedia and computer‑assisted courseware using your aviation maintenance experience, instructional skills, and computer proficiency. This customer‑facing position involves identifying and supporting customer needs, resolving a wide range of issues independently, and delivering aircraft systems training using various instructional aids such as multimedia presentations, aircraft components, and flight simulation tools.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working on Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault, Citation, or other Commercial or Business aircraft.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical or avionics aircraft systems relevant to the area of responsibility.
  • Ability to resolve customer instructional issues autonomously.
  • Proficiency with basic computer software, including Windows Suite, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word, to develop, revise, and deliver training materials and presentations.

Nice To Haves

  • Current aviation authority license such as TC, EASA, A&P, or equivalent.
  • Prior instructional experience (an asset, but not required).
