This role involves performing maintenance and repairs on automated industrial equipment, including electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and heaters. The company offers on-the-job training and/or outside schooling for core skills. Related experience in areas like automotive engine rebuilds, farm equipment repair, HVAC repair, or robotics programming is beneficial. Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to make time-efficient decisions.
• Ability to perform duties without direct supervision.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work skills and ability to use related tools.
• Steel fabrication work skills.
• Capability of using a tape measure, micrometer, dial indicator, feeler gauge, calipers, and amp/volt meter.
• Capability of using mig and stick welder and acetylene torch.
• Capability of taking corrective action on problems that arise.
• Ability to lift varying weights and use proper lifting equipment (hand truck, pallet jack, forklift) when needed.
• Pass drug testing/screening.
• Pass pre-employment physical.
• Pass reference checks.

Nice To Haves

• Related experience may include automotive engine rebuilds, repairing farm equipment, HVAC repair, programming robotics, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance procedures.
• Keep production lines and all related equipment in good operating condition.
• Perform lift truck maintenance and repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance, corrective actions, and troubleshoot in normal operations.
• Promptly complete job activities.
• Change DC electric motor brushes, pump seals, and bearings.
• Assist firemen with the sprinkler system in the event of a fire.
• Wear PPE while in the production area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
