This role is responsible for troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on various production equipment. The position involves recommending improvements to equipment and processes to enhance quality and productivity, navigating a CMMS system, completing work orders, filling out process sheets, and performing safety checks on machines. The individual will also perform routine preventative maintenance, replace electrical parts and equipment, and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals. Calibration and adjustment of functional parts, troubleshooting electrical circuits, and repairing machine parts are key duties. The role requires observing and listening to mechanical devices, dismantling devices to access and remove defective parts, examining parts for imperfections, inspecting used parts for dimensional changes, repairing or replacing defective parts, installing special functional and structural parts, and lubricating and cleaning parts. The position also involves starting machines to test performance, maintaining continuity among shifts through documentation and communication, and ensuring a safe working environment by following all safety rules and procedures. The role is responsible for the appearance of the workshop, adherence to GMPs and OSHA regulations, and supporting the food safety program. Responsibilities are inclusive of all listed duties, and work may be required off-shifts and on-call as needed.
