About The Position

This role is responsible for the maintenance of all facilities and production-related equipment. The position requires a high degree of mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform various repair and maintenance tasks.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED with relative vocational training preferred.
Must be able to demonstrate highly mechanical aptitude to execute essential functions.
Good communication skills with Floor Associates, vendors and Managers.
Must be able to read & write proficiently in English to understand manuals, directions, relative periodicals, etc. and communicate information in writing to associates, management and vendors.
Must be able to prioritize and effectively execute multiple projects.
Elementary judgment ability to execute essential functions.
Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the company.
Have and Maintain Valid Driver License.
Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
Must be able to work on feet for entire shift.

Nice To Haves

Basic electric and hydraulic symbols.
Basic use of hand tools.

Responsibilities

Perform basic building and equipment repairs.
Conduct basic rigging.
Move equipment.
Put spare parts away.
Understand basic electric and hydraulic symbols.
Utilize hand tools effectively.
Perform equipment preventive maintenance.
Operate a forklift (internal certification required).
Clean up oil and refill oil in machines.
Document all work using the work order system.
Be able to work all scheduled hours including Holidays, Weekends, etc.
Be on call as needed and as scheduled.
Occasionally travel by car locally to pick up parts or apparatus for maintenance or installation of equipment and facilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
