About The Position

Under general supervision, repair and maintain simple machinery and mechanical equipment by performing required pre-operational, in-process and post batch inspections.

Requirements

High School diploma or G.E.D.
Experience in a related field
Valid state driver’s license, with a good driving record
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain preventive maintenance records, logs, and reports.
Ability to operate safely and efficiently a wide variety of power equipment and hand tools

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Dismantle devices to gain access to clean and remove/repair defective parts.
Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
Repairs or replaces defective parts.
Install special functional and structural parts in devices.
Lubricates and cleans parts.
Runs devices to test their performance.
Perform building and plant equipment inspections and audits.
Perform building and plant upgrades.
Participate in physical inventories and cycle counting.
Contribute to team effort, i.e. assisting in any area required, etc.
Train designated employees on related procedures.
Participate in safety, loss control, accident, incident and rework investigations, as assigned.
Other duties as assigned
