About The Position

This is a vacant position. Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Joining our Canada’s Wonderland team means you’ll play an essential role in providing guests a memorable visit. You’ll also maintain and repair all, restaurant and food related equipment, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and associated controls. Assist licensed trade members in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Department. Be responsible for the condition of assigned area/equipment. May monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems for normal operation. May diagnose and troubleshoot various equipment faults. Have other opportunities to learn and expand your knowledge.

Requirements

• Individuals enrolled in or a graduate from an HVAC related program
• Candidates that have a natural gas pipe fitter (G3) certification; must be able to provide copy of certification
• Someone who is mechanically inclined and adept at equipment repair and troubleshooting
• Individuals who are comfortable with heights and ladder work
• Candidates that have a valid Ontario’s driver’s license (G/G2) with a clean abstract
• Individuals that are able to provide their own CSA approved safety footwear

Nice To Haves

• Individuals that have an understanding of standard practices, refrigeration and building control systems and relevant codes (an asset)
• Previous experience with hand power tools and test equipment (an asset)
