About The Position

This role is responsible for the construction, maintenance, and testing of mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. The position involves identifying parts or machines needing replacement, utilizing shop mathematics, and interpreting drawings to adjust, maintain, or repair machinery. The individual will respond to production area requests for mechanical assistance, diagnose problems, and communicate with production management and personnel. Performing preventive maintenance and completing assigned tasks accurately and efficiently are key aspects of this role.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
• General mathematic ability required to perform job
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
• Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)

• Technical school preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiency, in regards to time as well as resources
