About The Position

Pilgrim’s is seeking an hourly maintenance team member in Guntersville, Alabama, to join a high-performing team in a fast-paced production environment. The role involves maintaining and repairing production equipment, responding to mechanical issues, and completing preventive maintenance. Pilgrim’s describes safety as a condition, with team member safety coming first. The schedule includes Monday through Friday and weekends, with shifts varying.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.
• General mathematical ability to perform the job.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures.
• Ability to work assigned days and shifts, including weekends.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.
• Identify parts or machines that need new or replacement parts.
• Use shop mathematics to complete assignments.
• Interpret equipment drawings to adjust, maintain, or repair machinery.
• Respond to requests from production areas when equipment has mechanical issues.
• Communicate with production management and personnel to diagnose problems and determine potential mechanical issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently with respect to time and resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
