About The Position
This role is responsible for a variety of tasks to maintain the facility, including cleaning, basic repairs, painting, and assisting with installation projects. The position requires the ability to follow instructions, perform basic math, and handle physical demands such as lifting, bending, and working at heights. The employee will also be responsible for completing maintenance paperwork and tracking parts or tools.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow all quality alerts.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Responsibilities
- Overall shop cleaning and organizing (including bathrooms and lunch room)
- Basic building and office repairs (light switches, assemble and repair office furniture, etc.)
- Occasionally performs general carpentry
- Paints as required uses rollers, brushes, extension poles, or spray guns as needed
- Performs cleaning and inspections of equipment and the building
- Required to assist with installation projects (install lights, racks, etc.)
- Completes basic maintenance paperwork and assists with PM’s
- Tracks and records parts or tools that may need to be purchased
- Uses power tools to complete repairs
- Performs general housekeeping duties as required in work areas.
