About The Position
The Maintenance Helper is focused on ensuring our operations continue to run smoothly through PM's and general maintenance on equipment during natural down time and reports to the Maintenance Manager. This role is perfect for an individual who likes to work with machines, strong attention to detail and can envision how things go together. A vital member of the Maintenance Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Requirements

- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to learn new things and cross train in new areas
- Responsive to change in priorities and immediate demands
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly over shift and remain standing for long periods
Responsibilities
- Clean and inspect IG Line components and washers
- Assist with light maintenance and washer startups
- Organize departmental materials and mezzanine inventory
- Support tempering furnace cleaning and quench roll swaps
- Perform general plant support tasks
