About The Position

Seaside Vacation Homes, located in Seaside, OR, is searching for part-time and full-time Maintenance Technician Handyman Professionals to assist in the care of 62 homes and condos in their rental program. The company prides itself on maintaining properties better than the competition and fostering a supportive team environment with skilled craftsmen. The role involves light-duty physical work, problem-solving, and troubleshooting, with a focus on completing tasks efficiently. The company has a backlog of over 150 work orders and is seeking additional skilled hands to join their team. This is a full-time, year-round employment opportunity.

Requirements

Experience in Handyman, Craftsman, Journeyman, Plumbing, Electrical, Painting, Construction, Contractor, Carpet Cleaning, Flooring, Inspection or Painting.
Must have a reliable car or truck and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must have established residence on the North Coast or a transition plan.
Basic computer, internet, and typing skills are required for scheduling and documenting work orders.
Professional home care experience.
Knowledge of how to use a multi-meter, drywall trowel, drill, etc.
Must not use or be under the influence of marijuana at work or outside of work.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to take pride in work.
Ability to enjoy variety and a good work atmosphere.

Nice To Haves

Advanced computer skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Care for 62 homes and condos in the rental program.
Perform handyman, plumbing, electrical, painting, construction, flooring, and inspection tasks.
Complete maintenance orders efficiently.
Troubleshoot issues and make referrals when necessary.
Document work orders on laptop computers.
