As the Maintenance Supervisor, you are a part of Best People, you lead and supervise a team of Maintenance Technicians. You report to our Site Facilities Manager and work closely with our customer to identify maintenance opportunities for improving quality, reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and working within a team to ensure effective execution. You apply expertise in Industrial Maintenance to perform all work safely while setting an example for quality. Your passion for providing exceptional customer service contributes to our world-class customer service reputation. Requirements

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in an industrial maintenance required.
  • Solid knowledge of chemical process operations, maintenance practices, and safety protocols.
  • High mechanical and electrical aptitude that can be demonstrated with standardized testing / or experience
  • Proficiency in reading gauges, meters, and process control systems.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to respond quickly to changing conditions.
  • Comfortable working in hot, noisy, or confined spaces, and standing or walking for long periods.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Ability to safely lift items up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and support skilled trades professionals during assigned shift.
  • Assign daily work orders, manage priorities, and verify task completion.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting equipment issues, process deviations, or safety concerns.
  • Reinforce safe work practices, including proper use of PPE and hazard communication protocols.
  • Maintain accurate shift documentation, logs, and reporting while ensuring clear communication between shifts.
  • Partner with leadership and planners to coordinate preventative maintenance and production schedules.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work culture.
