POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Range Manager, a Grounds Maintenance position at Dan and Jerry’s Greenhouses is a hands-on role with responsibility for the upkeep of the site, including exterior and interior work. Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to use tools such as wrench, screwdrivers, drill etc
• Ability to operate lawn mowers, snowblowers, weed eaters and other maintenance equipment.
• Capability to perform physical tasks including digging, lifting and operating machinery.
• Ability to perform work independently or alongside other team members.
• The qualifications listed above are guidelines. Other combinations of education and experience may provide necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform this job.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years’ commercial and / or residential lawn maintenance experience.
• 2+ years’ commercial and / or residential snow and ice removal experience.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the exterior site appearance.
• Maintain beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces.
• Lawn mowing, trimming and weed control.
• Removal of debris and overgrowth.
• Winter snow and ice removal.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and servicing.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Periodic painting and facility repair as required.
• Assist in greenhouse maintenance and repairs inside facility as needed.
