About The Position

General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be willing to read, write, and communicate effectively. Must be willing to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of industrial maintenance experience documented in the applicant's work experience.
• Verifiable formal schooling in a relevant maintenance/refrigeration trade in lieu of experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willing to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach.
• Willing to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis.
• Willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.
• Willing to work in either cold, damp or hot, humid environments.
• Willing to work in areas that may have slippery walking surfaces.
