About The Position

This position is responsible for repairing and operating machinery while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position requires proficiency in multiple areas such as electrical, mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, and manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for maintaining plant equipment to supply maximum quality while ensuring the safest work possible. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must have 6 months of continuous employment with a single employer within the last 12 months of employment.
• Must have 1 year of industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatics, and welding.
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to handle extreme temperature changes and fast-paced work environment.

• Demonstrate hands-on abilities, skills will be enhanced through computer-based training modules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all plant equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with management and all departments.
• Maintain an updated pallet Jack and forklift license.
• Other duties as assigned.
