Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This role involves responding to mechanical or electrical breakdowns, handling emergency situations, and performing preventive maintenance according to schedule. The position requires the ability to perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs, diagnose and repair equipment without supervision, and start up and shut down equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision. The work environment can vary with outside ambient temperatures and humidity, and may be dusty, warm, cold, and/or humid. Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, and the ability to climb ladders, lifts, and scaffolds. Lifting may be required up to 70lbs depending on the department.
