About The Position

Home Forward is seeking two (2) Maintenance Generalists to support a portfolio of Home Forward properties. The Maintenance Generalist supports Home Forward’s strategic and operational objectives by performing a wide range of manual labor tasks to ensure that the agency’s apartment communities are clean places to live and work, operate efficiently and are assets to their neighborhoods. In this context, the incumbent in this position will collaborate with others at all levels of the organization. One position will support our Humboldt Gardens property, the other will support our properties in a floating capacity. This position is represented by the Building Trades Council and is scheduled to close on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of customer service, janitorial, grounds keeping, landscaping, or building trades experience.
  • Ability to obtain a valid Driver’s License within a 12-month period.
  • Membership, or ability to become a member in the appropriate union of the Building Trades Council.
