About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. The role involves setting up, adjusting, and breaking down production line machinery, and utilizing Tyson SAP software for work orders and daily documentation. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with Team Members, producers, USDA personnel, and drivers. The ability to perform mathematical computations for machinery and fluid capacities is also required. This role demands physical stamina, including lifting 50 lbs periodically and standing for up to 12 hours. All required job training must be completed. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent certification from a technical school with six months experience in industrial maintenance
  • Knowledge in industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, plumbing and welding
  • Strong electronic skill set
  • Must reside in the United States
