About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The work schedule is 6 days a week and 7 if production works on Saturday. Some departments are hot/wet, and some are cold/wet. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Requirements

Minimum 6 months industrial maintenance experience or be a recent graduate from an industrial maintenance program (Must document experience on application and/or in resume)
Must pass a drug test
Proficiency in reading and writing
Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork
Ability to effectively communicate across all management levels

Responsibilities

Being a member of the Plant Hazmat Team.
Completing computer-based training and entering work into the SAP system.
Using LOTO, Fall Protection, Ladders, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks.
Reading and writing, completing on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicating across all management levels.
