About The Position

A maintenance technician will be responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance on all plant equipment. Techs should also participate in maintenance testing in several of the following different areas: maintenance fundamentals, welding, refrigeration, pneumatics, hydraulics, boiler control, machine tool practices, electrical systems, electronics, robotics, plumbing, power transmissions, and mechanical skills. Maintenance Techs are required to follow proper hygiene practices and to always follow proper safety procedures. They must also perform any other job duties as assigned by their immediate supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months industrial maintenance experience or be a recent graduate from an industrial maintenance program (Must document experience on application and/or in resume)
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Provide government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.
  • Have not worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times.
  • Rehires accepted after 180 days.
