About The Position

This position will perform tasks involving welding, cutting, minor electrical repair, removing and replacement of motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water and steam pipes, lines and systems in an industrial environment while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

Knowledge in areas of welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, plumbing and boilers.
Ability to use basic hand tools.
Basic mechanical or maintenance skills.
Ability to lift 60 pounds.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 30 feet.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.
Must have 3 months of industrial maintenance work experience listed on application.
Applicants who have worked for Tyson three times or more will not be considered.
Minimum 180 days waiting period from previous Tyson employment.
Must be willing to work A, B, C or D shift.
Must be 18 years of age.
Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States.
Must pass a urinalysis screening.
