About The Position
The Maintenance Generalist MG05 is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets. This role ensures a safe work environment while adhering to Tyson Foods' policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of six months of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, or equivalent training.
- Valid driver's license.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification.
- Ability to work at Heights.
- The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in agriculture miffing maintenance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble equipment, pumps, and hydraulics.
- Housekeeping Responsibilities.
- Operate and maintain mobile equipment including skid steer and other loader classifications.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.
- Engage in physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly.
- Work in varying environmental conditions, including hot and cold.
- Work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Follow instructions and communicate effectively.
- Work at heights safely.
