About The Position
Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Provide troubleshooting and repair of any mechanical malfunction. Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems. Responds to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handles emergencies. Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule. Complete appropriate paperwork and reports. Must comply with lockout/ tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs. Must be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Able to perform diagnoses and repairs without supervision. Capable of starting all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision. Ability to assist with other mechanics as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1 year work experience in industrial maintenance
- Complete work history or resume attached to application
- Must have less than 7 attendance points and have no written disciplinary actions in the last 12 months
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
