About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role is crucial for preventive maintenance, repair, and rebuild of equipment and systems within the facility. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months of Industrial Maintenance experience.
Must provide a resume or manually enter work-related experience on application.
Ability to troubleshoot complex automated systems and learn equipment-specific training.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to climb ladders.
Ability to lift over 40 lbs.
Ability to work in various climates.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Adherence to OSHA standards and safety rules.
Must have 90 days since the last term date (for rehire criteria).
Not eligible for hire if terminated 3x or more (for rehire criteria).
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets.
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and rebuild of equipment and systems within the facility.
Maintain and rebuild machines, tender/shell belts, butterfly conveyors, skinners, and Sensor X equipment.
Monitor and repair equipment during production, documenting all corrections.
Assist with new equipment installation.
Monitor equipment drives, HMIs, and computer boards.
Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Fix or replace motors, gearboxes, belts, cylinders, blades, and other components.
Collaborate with other maintenance personnel.
