About The Position

Pacesetter Homes, a single-family business unit of Qualico with over 71 years of building experience, is one of Builder Magazine's 100 largest builders in the United States. They offer award-winning home plans, interior design selections, and options to personalize new homes. Pacesetter Homes operates in Western Canada, Dallas, Texas, and Austin, Texas. The Sales Representative is responsible for the direct sale of new homes, providing sales expertise and ensuring existing and potential customers receive an exceptional experience throughout all stages of their home buying process. The compensation for this role is 100% commission-based.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in New Home Sales.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
  • Comfortable using office equipment, Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and SharePoint) and customer relationship management or accounting software (Hubspot, NewStar etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary point of contact for customers. Consult with prospective customers to assess their needs and requirements, and recommend appropriate products.
  • Maintain relationships with customers throughout the home buying process and ensure their expectations are accurately relayed and priced.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by promoting sales to existing customers and by identifying/soliciting potential customers.
  • Find new and creative ways to market yourself and our homes to drive traffic while maintaining Qualico’s reputation.
  • Remain up-to-date with the specifications and ongoing promotions of market competitors, customer needs and market trends.
  • Liaise with the project management team throughout the building process to ensure the customer’s requirements are met and clearly communicated.
  • Supervise, develop and provide guidance to Sales Assistants. Ensure clear direction is given and that work is carried out in a safe manner.
