About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Maintenance Fueling Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fueling, inspecting, and performing basic maintenance support for company vehicles and equipment to ensure they are safe, clean, and ready for daily operations. This is an essential operations position that directly supports our fleet and drivers. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work a flexible schedule are critical to the success of this role. Candidates must be willing to work a six-day work week, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Basic understanding of diesel trucks and preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to safely operate fueling equipment and follow fueling procedures.
  • Ability to identify and report maintenance concerns.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with drivers and maintenance personnel.

Nice To Haves

  • CDL is a plus but not required.
  • Previous experience in fleet maintenance, fueling operations, or heavy-duty truck maintenance is preferred but not required.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Fuel company trucks, trailers, and equipment according to established procedures.
  • Perform daily visual inspections for leaks, tire condition, fluid levels, lights, and other safety concerns.
  • Check and replenish fluids, including engine oil, coolant, windshield washer fluid, and Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF).
  • Maintain accurate fueling, mileage, and maintenance records.
  • Report mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns promptly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Keep the fueling area, maintenance shop, and surrounding work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Wash and clean trucks and equipment as needed.
  • Assist maintenance technicians with preventive maintenance and basic repair tasks.
  • Operate fueling equipment, pressure washers, and shop equipment safely.
  • Follow all company safety policies and environmental regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
