About The Position

This position coordinates, directs, plans, and controls activities of the maintenance department workers ensuring that tasks and jobs are completed within company standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4 years of required work experience
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators.
  • Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing or Engineering field of study preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for adherence to all company policies, including, but not limited to and the use of personal protective equipment, other health, safety and environmental procedures.
  • Accountable for maintaining an accurate file system of prints, P.M. schedules, work orders, material requisitions and parts as assigned, with Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Responsible for ordering parts and coordinating equipment repairs and/or adjustments with Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Direct, oversee, train and continually monitor the effectiveness, behavior, and needs of the workforce assigned.
  • Assist Maintenance Manager with scheduling, planning, and assigning daily maintenance work throughout the plant.
  • Responsible for training and development of maintenance personnel.
  • Ability to work with outside vendors on projects when needed
  • Perform hands-on work as needed when business levels dictate.
  • Works any and all shifts and is available on an on-call basis in times of need.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is essential to this position.
