About The Position

Webb Wheel Products, Inc. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Facility Support team member to join their 3rd shift Maintenance Department. In this role, the team member will be responsible for handling vital, labor-intensive tasks assigned by the Team Leader to keep the facility running safely and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining an organized workspace, values workplace safety, and enjoys hands-on work.

Requirements

Proven experience in a labor-intensive, manufacturing, or facility maintenance role preferred.
Ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift and floor sweeping machinery.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the 3rd shift.
Physical stamina to handle lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the floor sweeper.
Empty all trash containment vessels and operate the trash compactor to keep the plant clear of debris.
Promptly address and clean up any noticeable floor concerns such as water, oil, or coolant spills to prevent workplace accidents.
Clean and maintain the shop floor and machinery as assigned.
Develop a general knowledge of all job-related equipment and work instructions.
Operate a forklift safely to move product throughout the facility.
Repair and stack wood dunnage as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times while strictly adhering to all company safety procedures.
Perform other duties and labor-intensive tasks as assigned by the Team Leader to support production goals.
