About The Position

This role has overall responsibility for the grounds and facility maintenance, including repairs, and the maintenance of the building's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The position also oversees grounds and parking lot maintenance and cleaning, and ensures security. The manager will directly supervise maintenance mechanics and electricians, schedule daily maintenance activities, and ensure adequate staffing to support daily manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include identifying, developing, and implementing manufacturing methods improvements and systems, working closely with the Manufacturing Development and Facilities Manager to ensure smooth facility operations, and managing department activities to ensure timely completion of long-range manufacturing engineering projects. The role requires staying informed about new technologies, manufacturing equipment, cutting tools, and methods to improve manufacturing process efficiency, and ensuring compliance with state DEP, federal EPA, and OSHA regulations.
