This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and infrastructure. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PMFlexibility: May be required to cover second shift and weekends as neededHow you’ll spend your dayAll areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position by any incumbents with reasonable accommodation if necessary.  Any non-essential functions are assumed to be included in other related duties or assignments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and safety practices.
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting skills required.
  • Low pressure boiler license preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Flexibility to cover second shift and weekends when needed.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Repair and replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
