About The Position

The Maintenance Equipment Assembler performs general equipment assembly, as well as light repairs and maintenance on plant equipment, as directed by work orders, inspection lists, or the Maintenance Supervisor. You’ll thrive in this position if you are exhaustively meticulous, adaptable, a team player, and a self-starter and creative problem solver. You have an unrelenting attention to detail, are at ease in a fast-paced environment, able to effortlessly change direction when priorities shift, and have an outstanding ability to think outside the box and use resources at hand to effortlessly get to the bottom of an issue: big or small.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience with any CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form.
Ability to work in cold temperature environments as low as -35 degrees.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Industrial maintenance, electrical and/or electronic training/experience.

Responsibilities

Assemble equipment to meet production demands.
Lubricate equipment and perform machine inspections.
Complete reports documenting work performed.
Repair conveyor belts.
Maintain a clean work area and perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas.
Provide suggestions to improve processes, procedures, and departmental operations in support of company goals.
Follow all food safety standards and legal requirements.
Maintain a positive and constructive work environment within the department and across other departments while promoting teamwork.
Work safely and comply with all safety requirements.
Participate in monthly departmental meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
