About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and detail-oriented Maintenance Engineer to join the team at OKANA Resort and Indoor Water Park. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance trade functions, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, HVAC systems, painting, wall repair, tile work, and contributing to the resort's preventative maintenance program. The Maintenance Engineer will collaborate with various team members, requiring quick thinking and an engaging attitude. This is an opportunity for a driven individual to grow and learn at a world-class property.

Requirements

Experience working in a Maintenance role at a hotel or resort
Knowledge of "household" repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
An engaging and welcoming personality
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
Excellent communication skills
Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout duration of shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Performs general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Performs general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring and air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures and motors.
Makes repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains and sanitary systems.
Make repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and window, carpeting, etc.
Performs general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
Keeps records as required by company policy and procedures.
Maintains logs on completed tasks.
Prepares reports as requested by supervisors.
Submits all requested reports/logs in a timely manner.
