Maintenance Engineer - System Engineer Dept
About The Position
Fuyao Glass America Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for the System Engineer Department. This role is responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of production equipment, issue analysis, and resolution. The engineer will handle equipment breakdown calls, prepare specifications for spare parts, and perform routine inspections to prevent downtime. Additionally, the role involves backing up and revising automation programs, conducting preventive maintenance and lubrication, and maintaining equipment documentation. Training equipment operators and other maintenance staff is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in equipment maintenance.
- Two years of experience in automobile glass production processes and automobile glass packaging production processes.
- Two years of experience with KUKA (Operation, maintenance, programming, etc.).
- Understanding of equipment mechanics and electrical principles.
- Proficiency in the application of automation programming software such as: AB, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and other brands of PLC programming.
- Knowledge of Cognex vision camera inspection equipment.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance of production equipment.
- Perform issue analysis and resolve according to work orders/maintenance requests.
- Responsible for the maintenance and fix according to equipment breakdown calls during on-duty shift.
- Prepare specifications for the purchase of spare parts inventory.
- Perform routine equipment inspection, identify potential failure risks and take action to prevent downtime.
- Responsible for regular backup or revision to automation program and ensure the reliability of backup.
- Responsible for equipment preventive maintenance and lubrication.
- Reduce equipment downtime and quantity of scraped product due to equipment issue for responsible area.
- Responsible for document record, such as Equipment sudden breakdown maintenance record and Maintenance work daily log.
- Responsible for regular operation training for equipment operators and training for other maintenance staff on skills and procedures.
