About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance trade functions, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, HVAC systems, painting, wall repair, tile work, and managing the preventative maintenance program for the resort/hotel. The ideal candidate will work closely with team members, possess quick thinking abilities, and an engaging attitude. Requirements

High School Diploma.
Valid Puerto Rico driver's license.
Knowledge of basic repair skills (plumbing, electricity, painting, etc.).
Previous experience working in a Maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
Someone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Available to work various shifts to include weekends and holidays.
Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout duration of shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Performs general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Performs general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
Makes repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
Makes repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, etc.
Performs general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
Keeps records as required by company policy and procedures.
Maintains logs on completed tasks.
Prepares reports as requested by supervisors.
Submits all requested reports/logs in a timely manner.
Carry out all instructions and tasks assigned by their immediate supervisor, as well as the responsibilities required by the position.
