About The Position
The Maintenance Engineer II is an intermediate level opportunity on our Facility Operations team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients and families have the best possible experience when visiting facilities across our health system.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED); or three to six (3-6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess a City of Tacoma Chief Operating Engineer License
- Minimum four (4) years experience working in at least one of the major building trades: Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, commercial carpentry
- Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
Responsibilities
- Evaluate routine malfunctioning conditions, initiate and perform repairs
- Install mechanical and electrical equipment in accordance with diagrams sketches, operational manuals, and manufacturers specifications
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Collaborate with supervisor in obtaining bids and inspections on externally run projects
- Partner with a service-oriented attitude and professional integrity
