Responsibilities

Oversee the installation, modification, and upgrade of manufacturing equipment.
Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
Study equipment performance and reliability to identify opportunities for improvement.
Establish programs and solutions aimed at increasing equipment uptime and addressing issues that affect the manufacturing process.
Provide technical support to the manufacturing repair and process engineering teams to enhance production efficiency.
Collaborate directly with the Production Maintenance team to troubleshoot equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
Define and write preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal operation of equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and assessments of manufacturing equipment to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
Read, interpret, and update prints/schematics for manufacturing equipment as needed.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of maintenance activities and equipment performance metrics.
