About The Position

The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for installing, programming, setting, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic equipment. This includes a variety of components such as metal detectors, scales, PID controllers, VFDs, PLCs, circuit boards, fuses, relays, motors, and electro-pneumatic valves. The role requires the ability to read and interpret electromechanical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. The position involves performing timely repairs and routine maintenance, as well as preventive maintenance on equipment. The electrician will also handle emergency and unplanned problems and repairs. Experience with power tools like saws, drills, impacts, and grinders is necessary. The job may require working in high heat and cold environments, at heights, and in confined spaces. The ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods is also required. This is a day shift position with the following schedule: Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM, and Thursday through Saturday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The pay rate is $27.60 per hour.

Requirements

• Knowledge using multimeter, megohmmeter, signal generator and computers.
• Experience using power tools, saws, drills, impacts, grinder, etc.
• Should be able to work on high heat and cold environments, heights, confined spaces.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must include all work experience even if submitting a résumé (FT, PT, temp, etc.) for the past 5 years. Failure to complete this or entering 'N/A' will result in automatic disqualification.
