About The Position

As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll play a critical role in keeping our manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently. You'll troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain the electrical and mechanical systems that power our production equipment while helping maximize equipment reliability and uptime.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or technical school diploma required.
  • 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience maintaining electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electricity, including 480V and 208/240V power distribution.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency using electrical testing equipment and basic computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while working independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Physical ability to safely perform the duties required in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Two-year technical degree or Journeyman Electrician license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, automation, and mechatronic systems.
  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including 480V three-phase and 208/240V single- and three-phase power systems.
  • Install disconnects, electrical panels, transformers, conduit, wiring, breakers, and associated electrical components.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical equipment, including motors, transformers, control circuits, lighting systems, relays, switches, sensors, and electronic controls.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical power transmission systems, conveyors, overhead cranes, welders, pumps, compressors, machine tools, forklifts, and other production equipment.
  • Maintain integrated automation systems including VFDs, motors, sensors, actuators, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, equipment alignments, installations, and precision repairs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout procedures, National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, and company safety policies.
  • Partner with production, engineering, and other departments to quickly resolve equipment issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
