About The Position

The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance functions to support the production of products for customers. This role involves adhering to safety policies, quality standards, and work rules, while maintaining good housekeeping and a positive work environment. The position requires referring to work orders and procedural instructions, performing quality assurance checks, and meeting production standards.

Requirements

Electrician experience
Knowledge of PLC, 3 phase, high and low voltage and variable drive experience
Must be able to troubleshoot
Knowledge of Allen Bradley and Direct Logic PLC's
Knowledge of CNC, such as Fanuc or Mazak
Must be able to perform robotic troubleshooting
Knowledge of 480-volt 3 phase, Low voltage VF Drive
Knowledge of building air conditioners
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Must possess an education or experience level that permits the employee to effectively communicate and perform duties, assignments and responsibilities of the job.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret the documents relating to the job, function or assignment.
Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
Ability to make decisions when identifying in-process problems.
Ability to deal with a variety of job assignments.
Ability to use machinery/equipment required to accomplish a given job assignment.

Responsibilities

Performs assignments in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.
Adheres to the Quality Policy, including all items assigned to this position in accordance with ISO policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Complies with the work rules and standards set forth in the Employee Handbook.
Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned work sites.
Displays appropriate work ethics in the workplace and group settings which provides a positive work environment with co-workers.
Refers to work order or procedural instructions appropriate for each job, function or assignment before commencing work.
Performs any specified quality assurance checks designated for each job, function or assignment.
Assures that all work assigned to position is performed in accordance with specifications, instructions and requirements.
Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within a reasonable time, depending on the degree of difficulty of their job functions.
Performs preventative and predictive maintenance.
Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested for successful completion of the mission of Norris Cylinder.
