About The Position
An established industrial wire manufacturer in the Kent, WA area is hiring a Maintenance Electrician to keep production machinery running. You'll install, modify, repair, and program electrical systems and components on industrial equipment. Full-time, direct-hire union role with strong benefits and a team that values safety and quality.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a maintenance electrician
- Experience with PLCs, drives, and up to 480V (no license required)
- Able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Must be 18+ and able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Must pass background, drug/alcohol, and physical screenings
Nice To Haves
- Mill or heavy-industrial experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Install power supply wiring and conduit for machines and equipment
- Connect and disconnect power supply wiring
- Troubleshoot transformers, motors, control boards, and other equipment
- Replace faulty electrical components
- Work with coworkers and supervisors to diagnose equipment failures
- Follow all safety regulations and keep a clean work area
