Maintenance Electrician
About The Position
Safety-Kleen, in Metairie, LA, is looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join their safety conscious team! This team member will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment with an industrial environment, including troubleshooting/diagnosing PLCs, schematics, electrical problems, performing preventative maintenance and general maintenance as needed, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Work schedule and hourly pay are governed by the union contract.
Requirements
- Experience working with PLCs
- Ability to read schematics
- Experience troubleshooting electrical problems
- Experience performing preventative maintenance
- Experience performing general maintenance
- Knowledge of safety regulations
