About The Position

Pacific Cheese is hiring a Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production, building, and facilities equipment. The role works the first shift, starting at 4:00 a.m. Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime. The position also involves coordinating maintenance work around production activities to support production and maintenance KPIs. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 6 years of electrical experience, including 480V and 120/24V DC control systems.
Familiarity with conveyor systems.
Background in ladder logic.

Nice To Haves

Allen-Bradley PLC experience is helpful.
Background in food packaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and maintain PLC- and variable-speed-drive-controlled high-speed production equipment and batch processes.
Maintain the power distribution of plant equipment.
Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment using precision measurement tools.
Interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
Analyze process data and make decisions about equipment maintenance and improvement activities.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to increase equipment reliability and uptime.
Use the online service maintenance application to document and track corrective and preventive maintenance, search for and issue parts, document equipment issues, and enter inspection and measurement points.
Schedule maintenance work around production activities to support production and maintenance KPIs.
