Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Read and understand pneumatic, hydraulic, electric and electronic documentation and drawings and interpret equipment data
Experience and demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting skills, preferably in PLC motor controls and electrical equipment
Strong understanding of Allen Bradley Control Systems, RS Logic 5000 & Seimens S7 preferred
Strong problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good mathematical and organizational skills
Good interpersonal skills
Must be able to work multiple shifts

Nice To Haves

Experience with Fanuc and Toshiba a plus
Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook a plus

Responsibilities

Learn plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training including lockout/tagout, housekeeping, and 5S standards.
Ensure equipment is running smoothly and safely.
Replace sensors, contacts, or other defective parts.
Work with PLC equipment, multiple small tools, and high-voltage equipment.
Keep equipment in safe, usable condition and the work area safe and tidy at all times.
Perform PLC programming & diagnostics on various systems and troubleshoot electrical equipment such as relays, contactors, overloads, timers, photodetection & proximity switches or light curtains.
