About The Position

The Maintenance- Electrician Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing factory machinery. This role requires strong hands-on skills, with the ability to work on your feet for extended periods and possess a certain level of strength and mobility. The technician will apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, troubleshoot faulty machinery by monitoring its operation for any unusual signs, and maintain machines for optimal efficiency. Documentation of all maintenance and repair sessions is crucial for shift-to-shift communication. The role also involves welding and fabrication skills for repairing or building necessary items for production. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• 6 years of experience with facility maintenance.
• A diverse mix of both mechanical and electrical skills.
• Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems.
• Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricity.
• Strong ability to inspect and evaluate all mechanical aspects of the building.
• Attention to detail to ensure jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and potential hazards are not overlooked.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with employees in a pleasant manner.
• Willingness and ability to work other shifts, overtime, and weekends, as required.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma is preferred, GED required.
• Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma.

Responsibilities
