About The Position

This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and electronic equipment within a manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Electrician III will test, locate, and repair electrical issues, troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment, and replace defective parts. A key aspect of this role involves working with PLC automation, including troubleshooting and writing code. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, including LOTO procedures and the use of proper PPE. The role also involves assisting other maintenance personnel, performing audits, and contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably as an Electrician in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient with PLC automation. Able to troubleshoot and write code.

Responsibilities

  • Test, locate and repair trouble in electrical circuits and equipment.
  • Perform electronic equipment repair and troubleshooting.
  • Repair and replace broken or defective parts.
  • Repair electrical motors, parts, wiring and other electrical devices.
  • Troubleshoot and write code for PLC automation.
  • Use knowledge of principles, methods and equipment in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and electronic equipment.
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications and manuals.
  • Work within a team environment with minimum supervision.
  • Exercise judgment and initiative within established guidelines.
  • Provide assistance to maintenance personnel.
  • Perform housekeeping as required in the Maintenance shop area.
  • Know and follow plant safety rules and wear proper PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, and gloves).
  • Adhere to all lock out/tag out (LOTO) procedures.
  • Perform all job duties using safe work methods.
  • Report any unsafe conditions to supervision.
  • Report all accidents no matter how slight to supervision immediately.
  • Prioritize tasks and anticipate needs to effectively manage time.
  • Be available for call-in duty.
  • Work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends and overtime as required.
  • Perform any other job duties as assigned by supervision.
  • Assist coworkers in all aspects of installation, modification, maintenance, repair of plant process equipment and systems and support equipment.
  • Perform regular in-process audits to ensure processes and products comply with standards.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
