Title: Maintenance Electrician Duration: 3+ Months (CTH) Location: Louisville KY 40203 Shift Timings: Mon-Fri (6:30am-3:00pm; 2:30pm to 11PM; 10:30pm to 7AM) Pay: USD 35/hr-USD 40/hr Position summary: The Maintenance Electrician I performs intermediate-level electrical and instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair for industrial equipment and systems. The role maintains electrical controls, motors, pumps, generators, switchgear, PLCs, relay logic systems, and electronic instrumentation

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an electrician or electrical/instrumentation technician.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Must successfully meet required job knowledge and skills assessments.
  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving habits.
  • Must hold an Electrician (EE) or Master Electrician (ME) License through the State of Kentucky or reciprocating state or have completed a state certified electrical apprenticeship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in industrial electrical maintenance and instrumentation.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining PLCs, relay logic, motor controls, and automated systems.
  • Experience with high- and medium-voltage switchgear and distribution equipment.
  • Experience maintaining pumps, motors, generators, and electronic instrumentation.
  • Formal journeyman-level electrical or instrumentation training.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of electrical equipment and components.
  • Maintain and repair pumps, motors, generators, distribution equipment, automated controls, PLCs, and relay logic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain high- and medium-voltage switchgear and related components with qualified staff.
  • Calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic instrumentation and monitoring systems.
